Description

One of the biggests faults with the Revolution Rage 5S is the fence's locking mechanism. It allows the fence to lock into place out of alignment, which can lead to pinching the work piece and possible kick-back.

Version 0.1 of this model was a replacement for the bracket I had broken. I modelled it close enough for my use case to just replace both of the brackets.

So this version is basically just joining together the two front brackets to create one big one. I have observed it self-align when 3-4mm out of alignment, but I cannot guarantee this.

Printing

Print in the provided orientation with full support underneath. The small overhang should not need support.

I printed it in PLA. The 0.1 version was also printed in PLA and I have had no issues with it, even though part of the time the saw was stored outside for months during winter.
