Für das Tool wird eine kurze M6 Schraube und eine passende Mutter benötigt, die in das Tool eingesetzt wird.

Nachfüllen der Sodastream Zylinder kann eine Menge Geld sparen. Bei den bekannten Online Shops können Fülladapter bestellt werden. Beim Quick-Release Zylinder (Rosa) muss zum Befüllen das Ventil oben eingedrückt werden. Über die Schraube im Tool wird das gemacht. Gleichzeitig wird der Zylinder fixiert, wenn man eine CO2 Flasche ohne Steigrohr zum Nachfüllen nutzt, die dazu auf den Kopf gestellt werden muss. Das Tool ist für Umfülladapter ist mit einem O-Ring (gelb). Ob er auch für die Versionen mit 2 O-Ringen passt, kann ich nicht sagen.

Vorgehensweise:

Messingfülladapter anschrauben. Überprüfen, dass das Entlüftungsventil geschlossen ist.

CO2 Flasche auf den Kopf stellen, z.B. auf eine Werkbank.

Sodastream Zylinder einklinken.

Tool über den Adapter und den Zylinderkopf schieben und Schraube eindrehen.

CO2 Flaschenventil/Handrad vorsichtig öffnen, bis das CO2 in den Zylinder strömt. Sobald das Zisch-/Fließgeräusch aufhört, die Flasche wieder zudrehen.

WICHTIG: 

Schraube im Tool wieder lösen! Wenn nicht strömt das CO2 wieder aus dem gerade gefüllten Zylinder

SEHR WICHTIG!

Entlüftungsventil am Messingadapter öffnen und den Druck im Adapter abbauen. Wenn ihr das nicht macht, schießt ihr euch die Gummidichtung aus dem Adapter.

Jetzt könnt ihr das Tool entfernen und den frisch gefüllten Zylinder aus dem Quickrelease ziehen.

Das Nachfüllen geschieht auf eigene Gefahr!

Refilling the Sodastream cylinder can save a lot of money. Filling adapters can be ordered from well-known online shops. With the quick-release cylinder (pink), the valve at the top has to be pressed in to fill it. This is done by using the screw in the tool. At the same time, the cylinder is fixed in place if you use a CO2 bottle without a riser tube to refill it, which has to be turned upside down. The tool is for the refill adapter with one O-ring (yellow). I cannot say whether it also fits the versions with 2 O-rings.

How to:

Screw on the brass filling adapter. Check that the vent valve is closed.

Turn the CO2 bottle upside down, e.g. on a workbench.

Click on the Sodastream cylinder.

Push the tool over the adapter and the cylinder head and screw in the screw.

Carefully open the CO2 bottle valve/handwheel until the CO2 flows into the cylinder. As soon as the hissing/flowing noise stops, close the bottle again.

IMPORTANT:

Loosen the screw in the tool again! If not, the CO2 will flow out of the cylinder that has just been filled

VERY IMPORTANT!

Open the vent valve on the brass adapter and release the pressure out of the adapter. If you don't do this, you will shoot the rubber seal out of the adapter. Now you can remove the tool and pull the freshly filled cylinder out of the quick release. Refilling is at your own risk!
