I wanted to add the “version 2” B2-EMO lights available from printed-droid.com to my build, but the downloadable print files available from them were the smaller and less detailed versions of files from the V1 B2.
Modified risers are already available from the Baddeley files within the “Mods” folder, but I wanted to make some minor changes to the large and small eye to better integrate the neopixel boards.
Update - Important Note! When installing the header pins on the lighting boards, use 90 degree headers that allow the dupont connectors to lay flat against the lighting boards (the pictures here show the standard, vertical header pins installed). Once installed, the vertical header pins will collide with the neck ring and can become damaged. Using the 90 degree header pins instead will ensure clearance for the full range of head motion.
MainEyev3_Modified: This is an updated version of Michael's V2 main eye that include recesses for both rings of neopixels as well as the protruding header pins. Holes have been added for M3 mounting hardware. If you would prefer to use heat set inserts, the thickness will need to be adjusted. I did not do this, but have provided the .STEP file so you can make this adjustment if desired.
Note: This will need to be printed with supports due to the raised central section.

SmallEyeDetail_Modified: This is an updated version of Michael's V2 small eye with holes for M3 hardware to attach the bracket that holds the neopixel board. As with the MainEye, the .STEP file is provided if you wish to further modify this to use heat set inserts.
Dual-color printing: For both eyes, a single color change is all that's really needed to enable effective masking for the lighting effect. In PrusaSlicer, I simply added a color change pause at the first layer I wanted to use the opaque filament. The pause happens at the start of the selected layer.
If you wish to do a more detailed multi-color print, have at it!
SmallEyeBracket: This simply holds the small eye neopixel board in place on the back of the small eye. M3x10mm button or socket cap screws are ideal.

LEDTubev3_Modified: This has been shortened to account for the central recess in MainEye added for the neopixels, and the flange has been widened for additional stability. Unfortunately, the central ring of neopixels is mostly obscured by the eye geometry, so the lighting effect here is not great. Printing it in white filament, though, will still provide a subtle effect, and is probably still worth it.
