Overview
This includes a magnetically mounted ball socket corner mount, and a case for the Arducam Day / Night (B0205) for the Prusa Core One. This is a USB camera for use with octopi, etc. The case should be easily adaptable to fit other cameras as well.
Required Magnets
The camera mount uses 10x20x2 rectangular magnets (I use 2 stacked 10x20x1) to lock the camera into place. The cable guides use 3mm tall by 5mm diameter round magnets.
Printing
Since this will be inside the case, printing with ABS, ABA, or PCCF is highly recommended. PETG is probably acceptable as well, but PLA would likely be problematic. Printing the arducam-back and corner_mount pieces at 100% infill can add some strength to the mount point, but should not be necesarry. The cable guides require adding a pause point at 4.0 mm to insert the round magnets.
Installation
The corner mount part has open slots to insert the rectangular magnets. I recommend using superglue to hold the magnets in place but it should not be strictly necessary. The installation is a matter of removing the rear sheet metal cover (https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/7-bodywork-electronics_835530#851316) and inserting the small end of the arducam USB cable through the top wiring cut. Run it carefully along the shelf and up the back corner, using the included guide part if required (I only used the for the top run). Run the cable along the top side of the printer, using the included cable guides to hold the wires snugly in place. Ensure that the cables are inserted fully into the guides to ensure a good fit. Then plug the camera in, play with the cable length as required and snap the camera into the front corner of the printer!
