This is a simple 2×4 Gridfinity bin designed for a “Geodreieck” (or geometry triangle). The bin is 1U high and allows for stacking. The finger scoop makes it easier to take the tool out.

A Geodreieck, geometry triangle, geodriehoek, or demi-carré combines a 90-45-45 triangle, a ruler, and a protractor into a single tool and is often used in European schools.

• Filament: PLA works well; other filaments may also be suitable but haven't been tested.

• Layer height: 0.20 mm seems to work well.

• Infill: 10% infill provides ample strength while conserving filament.

• Supports: No supports are necessary.

Modify

The FreeCAD source file is available in the Files section. I’m using the Gridfinity FreeCAD plugin for the bin, which allows you to easily add magnet or screw holes by adjusting the parameters within FreeCAD. Please feel free to make any modifications as needed.
