Revo micro toolhead - small, light and with interchangeable nozzles!
I've been making my own toolchanger using mostly E3d hardware, but I prefer direct drive and BMG extruders so had to redesign a few items.
The main part is the BMG / Duet toolboard mouont. This fits in place using the same method as the original cable management bracket. For the toolboard, standoffs have been provided with holes spec'd for M3 heatset nuts. The bracket is also designed for V1.3 toolboards (fixing spacing). In the picture is a V1.2 toolboard and only two of the holes line up. The bracket has provision for two lengths of convoluted tubing to guide the cables back to the printer (only one is needed but the other port is handy for routing local wiring) - cable tie ports have been provided too!
The heatsink mount fits to the toolplate the same as the original, the main difference is the duct is now part of the heatsink bracket, and it uses a 30mm fan instead of the original 20mm. The mounting holes for this part are sized to allow M3 screws to bite into the plastic, cutting their own threads - go easy on assembly!
The heatsink mount should be printed with the flat toolplate side on the bed, paint on supports for the step where the fan goes.
Fan dust only requires supports for the output overhangs.
I have not provided any files for the dock. This is because my printer is a modifies MGN cube made of 2020 / 2040 extrusion and is rather unique. Any difference in dock heights will have to worked out for yourselves.
