This is a stand designed to organize the gears that come with your mini lathe machine, you will have to machine a 10mm shaft to press fit into the stand base, in my case it turned out to be 9.99mm OD.

It is mainly designed for lathe gears but you can use it to store other items that have a hole in the center. 

You can choose whatever length of shaft you need for the desired height.
