Caution: This boomerang will not fly properly right off the printer. Please refer to the tuning instructions below.
This boomerang reminds me a bit of Volker Behrens' Geronimo Hook, as well as contemporary long-distance boomerangs. It is not a long-distance boomerang, but it does some nice mid-range circles if tuned properly.
As printed, it will most probably not make a full return, but crash about half way into the flight. To compensate for that, bend some dihedral into both wings, i.e., bend both wings upwards so that they are 1-2 mm off the table if you lay down the boomerang flat at the elbow. With the amount of dihedral, it should be possible to dial in some nice, low flights. Ideally, I like this kind of boomerang to stay almost level during the whole flight.
Throw low and with a bit of layover.
