I decided I was tired of my Cruel Seas boats breaking every time I took them somewhere so - storage box! The recess in the lid is for the ship cards (underside). The box as designed holds a Raumboot and 6 Schnellboots. The gaps in the dividers are for your fingers so you can get the boats out without a struggle.

If you separate the shells (Meshmixer function) you can easily move around the interior dividers etc. for a different mix of ships. The lid snapfits and is fairly secure. It printed pretty easily although the tabs to hold in the cards were too fragile. I'll likely just glue a strip of plasticard or something on to hold them in. If you resize the box, resize the lid to match. If you make the box taller you should still resize the lid by the same percentage so that the snap connectors still work.

I'm currently printing the Royal Navy version (Vospers and a couple Fairmiles) and will put it up once I'm sure it prints okay. Later versions will be for larger boats and other nations which will be done as I get the time.

I used supports for the lid to keep the overhang nice and allow for the recess on the underside. The box doesn't need supports of any kind.
