Here a simple dobson mount, which can vary the friction. It's working nicely I have to say.
I use it on a newton 114/900 and it is a huge step forward compared to the eq1 and eq2 mount.

I use teflon pads from Stabilit and some gliders from Ikea.

I use PLA but other material is fine too. Just during the day it shouldn't get too hot in a car because PLA gets weak then.
