Even though I still use the big one, sometimes you know that the printer is dialed in enough, and you just want to check something silly like e.g. adhesion on the temperature for the material you are about to print are correct.

This thing prints in a couple of seconds depending on your printer speeds, and uses less than a negligible amount of filament. It works for me, so it should work for you too.
