Background and model

I was looking for a small holder for razor blades and came across the nice and tiny ‘Razor blade holder’. The shorter side of the actual blade, at least mine, didn't slide under the grooves of that model, leading to the blade remaining too flexible for my use case. Those same grooves, however, allowed for some sort of locking part. Which is this model.

The parts combined still fit in the original case.

⚠ Be careful: The direction of movement is towards the cutting side. Use something like a screwdriver instead of your bare hand to cautiously slide the part into place.

Print settings

• Printed in PLA,
• layerheight: 0,1mm (must be for v2),
• nozzle: 0,4mm.

Version 2

Since in my print the plate locks a bit too tight, I made the lids slightly thinner. You can find this in de v2-file. (I haven't tested it yet)

Ideas for a next iteration

• Remix the case to be able to use it to lock the part into place
