The Stuka (short for STUrzKAmpflugzeug) first took to the skies in 1935, and tested in the Spanish civil war.  In WW2 they fitted some models with a siren, named “Jericho's Trumpet" which struck fear in the enemy. It was likely the nazis' best dive bomber, but its sole existence on the battleground required air superiority- For which reason it didnt do very well in the later years of the war.
