Summary
This is a set of 3 disks that can be screwed together (using 5m bolts) to form a joint for a microphone stand.
I've made one with a 30 degree angle, but that's easily changed in the code.
The position of the holes is based on the OS Grid. (http://openstructures.net/pages/9#deel2a)
The Scad file has all three parts in it, aligned the way they fit together when assembled. I printed the disks one by one, so there's 3 different .STL and .X3G files. (I'd like to know if there's a standard way to do this nicely).
It's not super-heavy duty, but it easily holds a microphone on a 1m rod.

Here's a script to generate 3 disks that together form a customizable joint.
Check out the "Complete" version if you want to customize it.
There's a piece of code at the bottom that i've disabled for now. It creates holes for six-sided bolt-heads, so it won't turn if you fasten the wingnuts, but i haven't tested it yet. I don't have a lot of experience with 3d printing (yet ;->) but i was worried about the overhang. Any commentary is welcome...

2026-01 Update:
It worked for 10 years! I made a new version with better overhangs/chamfers, and slightly more material. Hopefully this one will last 15 years. See you in 2041.
