This is a remix of captfitz' Minimalist towel peg hooks, scaled down to use 3/4" dowels. My girlfriend loved his 1 1/4" version, but wanted something smaller for her scarf collection. The ¾" dowels are a fairly snug fit, but some light sanding will loosen them up if that's what you need. It only has one mounting hole. It has the same inset in the back, so if you use wall anchors they will be flush mounted.

Note: They're a bit weaker in shear strength than the bigger ones, so if you hang something heavy on them, they might separate at the base (girlfriends bathrobe took down v2). I made some with 100% infill, and they're super strong now.
