This version of the Release Ring can be used to close off an unused input on an Over-Engineered Y-Splitter.

Although I have yet (if ever) decided to add an AMS unit to my P1S, I decided the ‘Over-Engineered Y-Splitter’ was a good choice  to couple up PTFE tubing for a side-mounted reel holder and still allow smooth loading of filament through the connection.
