An angled picatinny rail adapter to be used with scopes at longer ranges on crossbows. Since this adapter is primarily used with existing picatinny gear it doesn't really need to be screwed or otherwise connected by hardware since it will be held firmly in place by an accessory mounted on it (such as scope or red-dot sight).
This adapter can also be used on the side rails of the Adder in case you are trying to mount an ITPIAL on it - typically you can't mount them on the side rails because the magazine will get stuck on them during reload
Problem:
By default you can't really put a medium/long range scope on the magazine of the Cobra Adder crossbow. Technically you could, but it would only work short range, because the picatinny rail goes parallel with the crosbow. It needs to be angled slightly downward for long range shots.
Solution:
Saw through the magazine's picatinny rail base and insert a wedge OR use this adapter to avoid uneccesary damage with modifying the original magazine
Result:
With this adapter I am able to put a generic scope on the magazine rail (see picture included), and it will be sort of dead-accurate in a range of 100 feet (around 30 meters). ALSO I am able to use a red-dot sight ON TOP of the scope (it has it's own picatinny rails on top and sides) and it's also accurate on the distance of 80 feet (around 25 meters). No sawing necessary.
✔ Doesn't require screws or bolts
✔ No need to modify original magazine
✔ Two parts only (around 2 hours of printing at normal speed)
🔥 Blazingly fast😏
Instructions:
Just print it on the side that will generate the least amount of support structure. Maybe with ABS since it's not biodegradable and better for outdoor use?
