I wanted to power a toy racetrack not with 4 D batteries but with a USB wall charger. You can put a nail or some other contact into either end of the dummy and connect it via cable to a USB plug or directly to a power adapter. Please pay attention to the voltages, maximum current draw and the maximum current output of your power source.
