I have designed this jacket hook to be used on my custom wooden wardrobe storage. I wanted to achieve a sleek design and took inspiration from arrow heads.

The hanger stays open at about 45° and holds quite some weight. My 5kg leather jacket has been hanging on it for a month without any signs of weakness or deformation.

Print instructions

Print in small layer heights to get a sleek look. The hanger itself should be printed on the side for maximum stability and the plugs need a brim.

Assembly instructions

You will need an axle and a 3x8mm magnet for assembly. The axle can be produced by cutting a small nail with a string cutter. The axle should have this dimensions: 2mm x 20mm.

You can verify that the nail has the correct dimensions like in the picture below:

It should fit but the hanger should be able to move freely. Put the hanger into the main part and try it with the same nail. If you are not able to slide the hanger from the main body part without much force, you should use a nail with a smaller diameter.

Glue the magnet into the Hanger part. Mount the main part to a wall or wooden board. Mounting it before assembling the hanger is easier but depending on the length of your screws it should also be possible afterwards.

After verifying the hangers work perfectly, glue the plug into the hole to retain the axle. I used a screwdriver to align the plug with the slope.
