My boss just loved this "motivational picture" and used to add it on his presentations. He was retiring last week, so I made a desktop 3D version of it for him. I am sure he will put it on his desk when he comes back out of retirement....as they always do.
I do not really expect anyone to make another one, but maybe serve as inspriration on how to make something similar.

I modeled the base and target and printed them out on my Thing-o-matic in black ABS. The reverse lettering is created by filling in the letters with tinted Bondo automotive filler then sanding it flush after curing. I then sanded the base with progressively finer wet sandpaper upto 600 grit and used a little plastic polish. The base came out really nice. I tried doing some acetone wiping and vapor polishing, but I found that the wet sanding produced a superior finish in this case. I filled the hollow bottom of the base with rocks and epoxy to weight it down and give it a hefty feel. Then applied a circle of stick-on cork to protect the bottom. The target was painted white then I used some acrylic paints to color it in. I used some wood scraps to make the "frame" and purchased some darts to use as the arrows.
