Hello all.

This is a multi-part solution for mounting a Logitech C270 webcam to a 2020 aluminum extrusion. I designed it to be on the top extrusion of an Ender3 Max looking down at the build plate. But will mount to any extrusion.

v3 features two more cable tie points, and a third mounting point to the T-Nut slot.

v2 features an extra 3rd hole for mounting the webcam_mounting_arm v3

v2 features lightening, a cable-tie spot, and shorter in length.

*added webcam_main_body v2
v2 features a cutout slot to make it easier to insert/remove webcam cable.

You will need:

Bold = V3 Webcam_Mounting_Arm

1. (10x)(11x) m3x5x4 - Brass heatset inserts. [heatset inserts from DFH here]
2. The printed parts
3. (6x)(7x) m3x10 screws
4. (4x) m3x6 screws
5. (2x) m4x12 screws
6. (2x) m4 tnuts
   *the heatsets linked are the exact ones I designed this around

Instructions

1. Insert (8x) m3x5x4 heatset inserts into the main_body
2. Insert (2x)(3x) m3x5x4 heatset inserts into the back of the webcam_mounting_arm
3. Insert your Logitech C270 webcam, cord first, into the main body.
4. Attach webcam_main_body_front with (4x) m3x10 screws
5. Attach webcam_mounting_arm to the back of the main body using (4x) m3x6 screws
6. Attach webcam_mounting_arm_tnut_slot to the rear of the mounting arm using (2x)(3x) m3x10 screws
7. Attach the entire unit to your 2020 aluminum extrusion using (2x) m4x12 screws attached to t-nuts.

Be mindful of your webcam wire. I zip-tied mine down to keep it out of the way of the printing volume.
