Spinning a Cube
What does it make when a cube spins around one of its long diagonals? Using 3D design, we can explore the space of a spinning cube in multiple ways. While the whole object is difficult to print without support or, at least, a raft, it can be sliced into two or three pieces for easy printing. The result is surprisingly beautiful.
Among the files are: (1) a 50mm cube with three axes of rotation and (2) two versions of a spinning cube: a 24-iteration one and a 60-iteration one, both of which are based on a 50mm cube. Multiple choices are included for 3D printing. A corresponding stand is also provided for exhibit.

Notes:
If the whole object is printed in one piece, supports and rafts would be needed for printing. One can avoid the use of support or raft by printing the two or three components.
Be very careful when removing prints from the bed. Please use a thin spatula to pry around and wear protective gloves. When it comes off the bead, it just pops off. Use caution to avoid hurting your hands.
