INTRODUCTION:
The Printsulation Sidepack (or Backpack) is an insulated panel mod that adds space for fans, air filters, filament spools, cable management and easily modifiable ingress and egress for cables and filament paths to the print chamber.
I strongly suggest printing with cubic infill. Details on why, as well as other print recommendations are maintained in the Printsulation Side and Top Flat Panels model.

SAFETY WARNING: Actively heated chambers are a potential cause of house fires, especially involving one-off designs without professional QA and testing facilities. DO NOT USE any form of heater that could create hot spots or expose the Printsulation parts to ignition temperatures, including by installation error or by failure of any part or device in or near the printer.
FILAMENT CHOICE: Insure that your chamber temperatures never exceed a safe temperature for the filament you use. These panels will help you heat quicker with more energy efficiency regardless of temperature. But there are too many variables to allow me to recommend a max temperature.
The easiest suitable filament for these is probably a higher temperature ABS such as from Overture or Polymaker. (I used Overture ABS, and it has held up beautifully for me.) If you can successfully print it, Polycarbonate will be the best performing filament that is plausibly accessible to most users. Though it will be more difficult and more expansive to print.
For ABS, PC and others, the addition of carbon fiber both increases softening and deflection temperatures, and reduces warping. It appears that most CF filaments blend more lower temperature plastics into their formulas, but even so have better thermal characteristics than their non-CF counterparts. So PC-CF may be the best overall choice for those with access to a printer that can print it without warping.

- Choose your size (84mm fits standard 1Kg filament rolls). Print 2 each of the (A) part and (B) part.
- Print as many Printsulation Fittings as needed for the portholes and bone joiner spaces. NOTE that there is a “short” variant of the porthole plugs to accommodate slightly warped prints.
