This tool was designed as an entry into the Printables “Back to School” contest.
Designed to act as a quick reference of trigonometric values for students studying the Unit Circle, this tool provides Cos, Sin, and thus Tan, values at the key angles provided in radians.
Printed on a Creality Ender 3 V3 SE with a Ceramic Hot End upgrade using ESun ePLA-Silk in Gold.
I'd recommend printing at a 0.1mm layer height to allow maximum details on the text.
I used 15% Gyroid infill in the case of the picture.
If using Cura, make sure to select “Print Thin Walls” to allow the text to be properly printed. Not sure what the setting is called in other Slicers.
The text on the example was drawn over with a black sharpie to make it contrasted. I will be experimenting with multi-colour printing later on.
=======================================
Using the provided (Cos Sin) values respective to their radian values, the value of Tan (Sin/Cos) and their values in the other 3 quadrants (using trigonometric symmetry laws) can be found.
