This is a remix of the TS100 stand by Patrovite (thanks).
Instead of a metal washer to rest the soldering iron against I used a copper 22mm to 15mm pipe reducer from my box of plumbing supplies. It works pretty well. It is easier to place the iron without looking than the relatively small hole in the washer.

I shall probably do another remix with a larger sphere for the tip cleaner, and some arrangement to avoid the hot tip touching items on my bench.

I printed it in PETG since it is my favourite material, but other materials should be OK.

UPDATE

Uploaded a new STL file with a larger sphere, and another one with a mount for a tip guard I recovered from an old soldering iron stand.
