PLEASE NOTE: My railroad uses battery operated locomotives so I have no need for electrical connection from rail to rail. If you have one of the more typical rail powered systems this model will not work for you without installing jumper wires.
An alternative to the tried and true, and horribly annoying, metal rail joiners. This is a one piece joiner that not only joins the rails but also maintains the rail-to-rail spacing/alignment and includes a hole for a rail pin.
The short version was sized for Peco switches back-to-back. The longer version works for flex track to a switch. My track is code 83 but these should work universally since the geometry of the lower portion of the various track sizes I believe is universal.
I printed these with a 0.30 nozzle and 0.12 layers, 100% infill. Print orientation is laid on the side so no support. The 30 count 3mf file has all of the print parameters.
