Summary
This is a fun and easy model that can be adapted to almost any project. The idea was to make a honeycomb mesh as big as i could that fits on the bed of the ender 3, that way it can be resized to suit any application that might need a honeycomb.

Notes:
This can be printed in any material really, abs warped too much for me since this takes up almost the entire build plate of the ender 3 when laying flat, wich is how i recommend you print this. The final product that got installed on the truck was PLA since its easy to paint, and I have not had any issues with warping or cracking due to heat exposure, the truck is in Florida and is my daily driver. after 6 months it still looks like new.
Post-Printing
Reccomendations
I used JB weld plastic glue to hold the pieces together and affix them to the back of the grille, afterwards I gave everything a very lite sanding with a steel wool, primed, painted, and installed.
How I Designed This
Ideas are awesome
i designed this to fit nicely on the build plate of an ender 3 when the model is laying horizontally, so that several pieces can be printed out and glued together to create a mesh that is whatever size you may need. i specifically wanted a honeycomb mesh insert for the grille on my 1999 ford ranger and i didn't like the look of any of the stuff i was finding for sale, so i decided to make my own.
