Summary
This is a platform frame for the Custom MK3 Alu heatbed 240x214mm that Marlark aka Me ;) provide mainly for the Vertex K8400 owners. If you want to buy a heatbed you can email me on teddyhq@hotmail.com or visit the forum thread http://forum.velleman.eu/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=14714 for further information. I printed the frame in ABS but can be made in other heat tolerable filament types.
What this construct does is it move the build platform backward and extends it. The idea is to make clearance and to be able to use this fully you need a new glass plate 240x240mm.
You also need 2 neodyne magnets pref a diameter around 10mm x 2,5mm.
Reason for me making the glass bigger is im planning on trying to extend the build area on the Y axis (magicly remove some of the space the front fan use) and i needed some of the size for the magnet lock..
Want to thank @Svdv for beeing my inspiration for this project and my wife for putting up with the ABS vapor fumes ;)

Notes:
For the FArm you might need a Raft and slow down the printspeed due to most of it might need to be printed on supports.
PS ..... A little tricky that part.

Instructions
Glue a magnet in the hole of the underside of the FArm. and one on the underside of the glass plate. Use 2 M3 screws and locking nuts to put the RightB and LeftB on the FArm. Reuse the old original Screws/Bolts and you can ether use 3 solutions with wing nuts or the original nuts or even with springs and one of the 2 first options. Totally up to the user there ;)
Finally put in the heatbed and the glass plate ontop.
