Some spheres I made out of two and three sets of parallel rings. Printed through Shapeways testing the smallest print thickness, it is strong enough to be dropped and not break (may depend on material). Picture is printed in "White Strong & Flexible" material from Shapeways. Probably is a great stress tester for FDM and Resin printers too.
