I turned an old dresser into a knife drawer, but it was too heavy and bulky and kept breaking, so I decided to make this instead.
I made it out of PETG for a little better temperature tolerance though I don't think it's a problem. I got the handles from Home Depot in the cabinet aisle. I had to break the right drawer into three pieces to fit the XL printer, so bear that in mind. Everything fits on an XL but I don't think anything will fit on the smaller printers.
I used 3 M3x18 screws in the top holes inside the drawer. I used 3 12-24x2.5" screws to give that some stength from the bottom right drawer into the left. I used 4 10-24x0.75" screws to hold the front on at the bottom, and added 2 10-24x2" screws to hold the sides to the top of the front. I also used ¼-20x0.75" in the center to hold the front to the to side pieces. I used the same ¼-20x0.75" for holding the chain in. I ran out of chain so the right drawer doesn't have any yet, but you can see the idea on the left drawer.
The two handles are not in the center of the drawers because I wanted them evenly spaced when the drawers were closed rather than being centered on the drawers.
Overall I'm very happy with how it turned out… although it means I just need a BIGGER printer now to not have to break that right drawer to pieces! Hopefully my wife doesn't read this.

FYI the web page picked them up as polypropylene but I did them in pet and also sliced them for pet so I have no idea why it did that. I really don't think PP would be a good idea for this model…
