Summary

The catamaran serves as a floatation device for a GoPro, which can be mounted on top using a screw (M4*20). It can be attached to a canoe or SUP with a rope. Alternatively, it can be towed while swimming, for example, to capture time-lapse footage. Its shape allows it to align with the direction of the current. The three parts are plugged together and glued. Additionally, the catamaran can be sealed with a water-resistant varnish or synthetic resin. I used marine varnish for this.

Der Katamaran dient als Schwimmkörper für eine GoPro, die oben mit einer Schraube (M4*20) montiert werden kann. Er kann mit einem Seil an einem Kanu oder SUP befestigt werden. Alternativ kann er auch beim Schwimmen zum Beispiel für Zeitrafferaufnahmen hinterhergezogen werden. Durch die Form richtet er sich nach der Strömungsrichtung aus. Die drei Teile werden ineinandergesteckt und verklebt. Zusätzlich kann der Katamaran mit einem Wasserbeständigen Lack oder Kunstharz versiegelt werden. Ich habe hier einen Bootslack verwendet.
