Summary
I like XT30 connectors for high current applications, they are compact have much lower resistance than cheap barrel connectors.
They are mostly designed for internal applications without the need for disconnecting often. I'm using them externally, and didn't want exposed wires, or to strain the wires when plugging or unplugging.
This sleeve has a small lip that grips the XT30 and holds it tightly. There are 2 versions, you can use either an M2 bolt or a M2 screw to hold the 2 halves together.
The same sleeve works for both male and female connectors. To make a single sleeve, print a top and a bottom.
You can use the internal dimensions as the basis for a remix (for creating baseplates, socket mounts etc).

YMMV, but supports on an angle like these over-adhere a bit on my Ender 3. Post-print sanding can clean this up.
