This is my minimalist version of an Ender 3 Tool holder for the snips (aka filament cutters) — the tool I use most with my 3D printer. It holds the cutters handle-side up so they are easy to grab and close at hand. This uses the standard rail insert and is a quick, easy print.
This solo tool holder design was inspired by multi-tool holders like https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4669250 and others that fit on the top rail, however, I designed it from scratch in Rhino 3D.
Why did I design this?
I keep my 3D printer tools in a drawer unit but found it inconvenient for the snips. I like a streamlined look for my printer and this minimalist design is functional and low-profile. I re-printed it in black so it integrates with the frame.
Please post a pic if you make it!

Post-Printing
This snip holder is a perfect fit for my Ender 3 Pro (2022). It is designed to fit snugly on the rail so make sure you sand any burrs left from the support material where it slides onto the rail.
