Dehydrator for Four Standard Spools of Filament
Required Parts:
- 1x Food Dehydrator: (e.g., Amazon Link) - This machine is likely available under various names.
- 5x 15x20cm sheets of 2mm Acrylic Glass: (e.g., Amazon Link) - This set includes 10 sheets. You will need to cut one into smaller pieces and use the included connector.
- Alternatively:
- 2x 15x20cm sheets and 2x 22x20cm sheets of 2mm Acrylic Glass
Optional Parts:
- 4x PC4-M6 pneumatic quick connectors
- 4x PTFE Tubes: Length depends on the relative position of your 3D printer and your convenience, but it will be quite long.
- 1x Mini Thermometer Hygrometer: (e.g., Amazon Link)
- some Duct Tape will help during assembly

Printing Recommendations:
- Material: Use ABS or PETG due to the high temperatures involved.
- Orientation: Print the top parts and corners upside down to minimize the need for supports. The connectors should be printed on their side (like an “H”) without supports.
Variations:
- If you do not need the holes for the hygrometer and filament, use the solid upper parts twice.
Assembly Instructions:
- Refer to the .3mf file for positioning details.
- Do not forget to insert the glass into the grooves; it does not need to be glued.
- Note that the connector does not cover the full height of the glass and should be positioned in the middle.
- I used one of the original trays at the bottom without gluing it, allowing for occasional use of the dehydrator for its intended purpose. Alternatively, you can use two trays to create a storage level for silica-gel packs.
