My wife showed me a shelf on Amazon that was $40. I couldn’t bear paying that much for something that I was capable of making. I had to print the thing in 4 parts because it was so large. I glued the parts together, but I didn’t like how all of the seams were visible, so I filled the gaps with wood filler, sanded and painted the shelf. 

Overall i think it turned out nice looking, but will all of the time, effort, and filament that went into the project, I might buy the one from Amazon next time. 
 

I printed it with the standard perimeters, extra layers on the bottom of the part, and the minimum amount of infill that I could get away with (probably about 5%).
