I was very surprised at not finding this here. It's just a grip that slides under your wood/gypsum etc panel to help lift it. I made it to fit a 24x24cm bed, no support needed.
Rare thing that happens: it's perfect (at least for me) on the first test print! And I did a super weak print at 0.28 layer height, 2 walls, 2 top and bottom shell and 5% cubic infill! I won't print another one, it's perfectly stron enough to lift a 55kg 2440*1220cm panel (standard plywood size - same in the us) at 15mm (½ inch).
But I'd still recommend if you'll use this often:
- 0.28 layer height works - I think it even makes the part stronger. But 0.20 would work too)
- 3 walls
- 3top and bottom shells
- 25% cubic infill
- I used simple PLA.
- Print on its side
The weird holes were to minimize plastic and still be printable on its side. I made a round grip for good grip.
P.S. After using it a bit, my “very weak one” makes a lot of cracking noises. So I recommend the settings I gave above:)
