Remix of Alexander Þór's M12 Gland mount, with a PG7 thread rather than M12 (allowing a smaller strain relief gland to be used).
Also adds a slot to slide the cables in through. This can be secured with an 8mm M3 SHCS screw and heatset insert. Screw the gland end into the mount, then tighten the screw down. Don't clamp it down and break the plastic - just so it's not going to flap open and let the gland fall out. some threadlocker should probably be used, as I can see this screw being vibrated out onto the buildplate if not careful.
Printing
I've printed this in ABS+ with no problems - just make sure it's printed in the STL's orientation - the part that interfaces with the back of the CW2 should be at an angle, not 90° to the bed. No support is necessary.
BOM
- 1x PG7 Gland. I used this strain relief one
- 2x M3x8 SHCS (1 for holding the slot closed, 1 for attaching to the CW2)
- 1x M3x20 SHCS (for attaching to the CW2
- 2x heatset insert
