During my retraction testing I found out, that simple tower-to-tower retraction tests will tune retractions mostly for these specific geometries. But what if your model contains thin wall? Or some larger part with longer extrusion?

You might need to tune not only retraction length and speed, but Extra Length on Restart, or Wiping.

This test is designed to print fast and help you find your answers to retraction tuning.

Printing Instructions

Be sure to turn on "Detect Thin Walls" in your slicer.

Print speeds on Prusa MINI:

• 0.15mm layer = 20 minutes
• 0.15mm layer = 14 minutes
• 0.20mm layer = 11 minutes

And of course, you can stop the print earlier, when you see the results.
