Divider for Milwaukee Packout Box large inserts. Modelled off another I found on the internet, refer the following link http://eikimartinson.com/archives/162-More-3D-Printed-Bins,-for-Milwaukee-Organizer-Boxes.html Recommend checking out this page, the author has worked on a lot of different items. The original model is also found on OnShape, and is a publicly accessible model.
V01: Changes from original: I changed the dimensions of the top “triangle” and removed the flanges to allow for 2 x dividers to fit in the one box.
The original model was very good, but for the particular packout box I was testing against, the original was too large to accommodate 2 x dividers, and was tight with just one due to the edge with the flanges.
V02: I have shortened the height by 6.5mm. I had tested them against a jumbo size packout box, rather than the standard large one.
I printed in .3mm (draft), with PETG. I only needed supports for the cutout underneath, refer photo and .stl/.gcode preview. If you have your overhangs set correctly, or dont care about the finish underneath, you could remove the supports.
For those who want to scale this model, please be aware there is a 3deg draft on the box (ie, the cross section at the bottom is smaller than the top). I'm not sure what draft the smaller Milwaukee boxes have, if at all. So if scaling this model to suit the smaller boxes, just be aware of this factor.
