Summary

I designed and printed another version of a capture chute for a Mazzer Major coffee grinder. These grinders shoot grounds everywhere with alot of force, so capturing it upon exiting has proven to be challenging. This two part funnel uses magnets to snap them together when in use. You lift the outer part away and brush the chute with a paintbrush, for the last of the grounds. I added some cork to the sides of this outer piece to increase the interference between it and the stationary part of the funnel, which bolts to the Major. I also built a wood platform where the portafilter rests when grinding, so the task is hands free.
