I've designed this handle to snap onto the scanner body, and secure it in place with a thumb screw.

No supports needed, but I did use a brim to help the base stick.

I printed it in PLA, but I'd almost recommend PETG.

The thumbscrew is meant to be used with a ¼"-20 X ¾" long hex bolt.

I've made three different versions.

Basic - Just the handle, no options for tripod mounting.

Threaded - Printed threads for a ¼"-20 tripod fastener.

Thread-Sert - Designed to accept a heat-set threaded insert. Like this one.
