Modular Wild Bee Hotel

I found a problem with the position of the mounting holes on the
left + right the holes are NOT one upon the other. Sorry I fix it.
New Files with proper Holes coming soon,
start with Drilling Template "Bohrschablone-V2-100x150x2"

You can make or buy these milled boards from wood (MDF) here is
a modern replacement for it.

Because this is a new project the Boards are not tested live with
volunteers bees up to now. I report in the next month.

Wilde Bee uses every possible Hole

Cocoon Frame (Place over the other boards for exclosion in Spring)
There are 4 extra Holes In the Frame for Mounting between two
wooden boards. = Sandwich

Boards with 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 mm grooves for Wild Bee´s
Different Wild Bee´s need different Diameter !

Roten Mauerbiene - Osmia bicornis 5 – 7 mm
Gehörnten Mauerbiene - Osmia cornuta 6 – 10 mm
Stahlblauen Mauerbiene - Osmia caerulescens) 4 – 5 mm
Scherenbienen - Chelostoma spec 3 – 5 mm
Löcherbienen - Heriades 3 – 3,5 mm
Maskenbienen - Hylaeus spec. 2,5 - 4 mm
Wespen - wasp 2,5 – 4 mm.

Between every Board you need a extra wooden board and on top and bottom too .
Every wooden board has the same dimension (~ 110x160) and hole (drill it diy).

A new Version from 3 to 10 mm Hole (but Oldschool) with Holes in Front+Back
please look at "FB" in the Filename. (for the moment only as SCAD Type)
3D Print upside down, Hole (Milling) on top.

You can use it upside down too, with the recommended wooden board on top

The Wild Bee fill in Summer the Holes with food for the eggs in a period from 4-6 week.
In around September you can open the Hotel and check every board if there is a
trouble with the Cocoon for pest.
Clean the good ones and Store it cold (refrigerator at ~4°C = ~39°F).

You can by the cocoon from commercial dealer (e.g. 1 cocoon = 1 €)
but In germany the dealer need a special license for it (to protect wildlife)

In the next year place the cocoon in the cocoon board over the other boards.
You need a Plexiglas/Polystyrol pane in front of the cocoon hole to protect wild bees
(to pick them up) from Birds. (no Link - coming soon)
or Netting wire with distance too
