We needed a place to keep our small (ok, not that small) collection of Nintendo Switch game cards. Why buy one when you can make one, right?

This is a simple case with a "twist". Once fully assembled it should appear to be a 3d printed minecraft block, however depress a "hidden" (in plain-sight) button and the top will lift up. With a simple twist the top can be lifted up providing access to 14 game chips. Give the top one more twist and the top comes free revealing a small storage area for things such as earbuds or other small accessories. When the lid is returned to the box it locks into place hiding the contents from prying eyes.

Try not to use a brim when printing the tiles as that makes it harder to get a snug fit in the cutouts in the box.

The button should slide into the open hole in the box snugly. Use a small rubberband to provide tension between the box and the button. Connect the rubber band to the hook on the inside of the box near the button hole opening and the button. As long as the rubber band is strong enough this will snap the button back after it is pressed and "lock" the lid in place.
