Reverse engineered Milwaukee 16ft tape measure locking slider.
I reverse-engineered the locking mechanism for my Milwaukee 16ft tape measure after the original locking slider broke. I took those broken pieces, taped them together, and recreated the locking slider with a little extra support where the previous break happened. I've been using the tape measure and lock for almost 6 months with no issues.
This was a quick easy way to restore the locking function of my tape measure.
