Here is a soft NEMA17 dampener i use on my Prusa i3 clone.

Just to be sure here are the dimensions i used :
NEMA width = 42.3mm
Screws spacing = 31mm

Filament used : FlexiSMART Filament flexible TPE @200°C extruder, 30°C Bed (glass+UHU dried layer)
