Summary
Big Clive (see below) made a Youtube video where he presented the idea of replacing the boring bulb of simple LED lamps using a crystal. I took his very basic scripts and created one which allows all of his ideas and some more.
You can create quartz like crystals, fully cut brilliant diamonds and any gem in between. The size allows from tiny 3mm LEGO and LED diamonds to large lamp shades. Create decoration and toys.
I can't add your stl file here, surprisingly all these cheap Chinese bulb lamps vary in diameter. You have to measure and create your own. I added some screenshots for shape suggestions. Download openscad from openscad.org for a full fast customizer. See the guide image above.
Be aware of the temperature of these lamps. Some are baking their LEDs and can reach well above the softening point of PLA. Dimm the lamps (see Big Clive), use a different fillament or at least drill some vent holes.

Printing Tips
- I recommend printing lamps in vase/spiral mode.
- You might have to enable thin walls for tiny 3mm LED gems if you print a lot of them at once.
- Toys and decoration are whatever. You have to decide how strong of a diamond you need.
- The script prints some slope degree information in the console. You might need supports or tune the values to create less steep overhangs.
- Use a brim for gems with a tiny base.
- Print diamonds without base upside-down.
