This is my new design for a mount/display for a helmet or mask. It allows the item to be displayed without showing too much of the hanger.

The 'wall bracket' section sits flush against the wall. The 'shaft' then plugs into this with the help of a peg, and then the rounded 'top' on this with a second peg (with glue to help). I have put each part seperate so that you can change the lengths of the bracket and the shaft parts to customise it to you helmets dimensions.

I printed in PETG with slic3r PE. With this; a 50% infill with 5 perimeters was used to make it good and strong. Except for the rounded top, for which I use 20% infill make it a bit lighter. PLA is too brittle and will break.

This latest version removes a couple of joints that were prone to breaking and makes it more square in form, so you can print without any need for supports. It seems fine for light weight replica helmets..... but print at your own risk! I accept no responsibility for a damaged helmet if it falls off the wall!!

NB: the lengths in the version provided are correct for the official replica first order storm trooper helmet depicted....
