I made a keychain version of my desert eagle fidget from makerworld! it is combatable with all the same accessories i have made and has the same assembly minus the mag

A fun realistic mini desert eagle fidget!

has no firing function or loading, but is very fun! Has a magnetic mag for extra fun! While it has no firing function, it is still a fun thing to just play around with.

The video was done with the new slide. I printed the new slide out of pla tough, so I don't know how it works with other filament. if it breaks, no matter what filament you are using, download the old slide stl and print it. it has a groove for easier insertion, but the groove shows. It doesn't affect it at all, but its your choice.

The video is sped up as I haven't posted on YouTube since 1 minute was the max time for a short. feel free to pause it!

Parts needed:

1x 0.5x5x25 mm Compression Spring (or a pen spring as long as it fits)

All included in the makers beginner kit!

Assembly:

the first plate has the mag, glue a 4x2 magnet in the hole on the mag

the second plate will pause close to the beginning of the print, insert another magnet making sure the magnets attract (this magnet will be embedded but glue is nice if you have a nozzle that the magnet could stick to)

slide the ‘front’ into the ‘slide’

put a 0.5x5x25 mm Compression Spring into the bottom of the slide and front as pictured

put glue in the slot (do not put to much or the slide will not move)

put a dab of glue at the very end of the rail

put the parts together and clamp

Glue on grips (the sharpest corners go together and its small so look carefully)
