which lets you make (among other things), a repeater from separate transmitter and receiver modules.

I've also included the SketchUp file in case anyone wants to enhance it. I'm contemplating a top, maybe some way of fastening it to a surface, etc, but this is good enough for now.

I used 3mm inserts and 6mm long hex screws, but you can probably find a self-tapping screw that'll hold the board in.
