SparkFun has a simple audio amplifier kit, the STA540 (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9612). Since I plan on building several of these (adding increasing automation to them) I wanted an enclosure for these.

As they were 'out of sight out of mind' type devices mounted under my desk and such places I needed mounting tabs for them too.

This design is not complete because I need to add a cover to it, but what we have here works and fits the kit as currently (as of August, 2012) supplied by SparkFun.

The standoffs are designed specifically for a typical M3x20mm bolt with hex nut captures in the bottom so you will need 4x(M3x20mm) bolts and 4x(M3 hex nuts) to mount this.

There maybe some droop where it goes from printing a hex nut capture to the shaft opening for the M3 bolt, but a little cleanup with an exact-o knife will take care of that.
